At Priorsford, we are all very proud of our school, our pupils and our positive, supportive and welcoming ethos.

As a Rights Respecting School, we have created a culture of mutual respect, where pupils feel safe, happy and are motivated to learn.

Being the largest primary school in Scottish Borders means that we are able to offer a wide range of extra-curricular activities. We make full use of the high standard of facilities both within the school and in the wider local community to enable pupils to experience success in many areas.

⭐️ Summer Fair ⭐️ 16th May ⭐️ 10.30am-1pm

The summer fair is going ahead but it’s going to look a little different this year… we have limited time and volunteers but will do what we can. 😊

We are still hoping to have some stalls, a bbq (if we can find a volunteer chef 🤞), the dunk tank and refreshments. These will all run alongside the popular Priorsford plant sale and some activities run by Mrs Palmer and the reading ambassador’s.

We also invite everyone to bring a picnic and blanket for the grass as we hope to have some live music and equipment (skipping ropes/ balls) for the kids to play with.

This year we are offering spaces for a car boot. So, if you need a clear out and have some goodies to sell then why not book a spot? Support the school and make some money for yourself!

We are also looking for donations for the tombola please 🤞. Any donations are appreciated and can be handed into the office.

After much planning, we’re really excited to be building the share shed at the school at 10am this Saturday 25th April. This is going to be a great resource for everyone to rehome uniform and other school essentials. We’re looking for any volunteers to help (ideally with tools and know how but not vital!!).
